The groove on this page

Tech house keeps house's four on the floor and its shuffle but hands the groove to the bass: short, bouncing notes in the gaps between the kicks, often a single pitch with a slide at the end of the bar. The hats are thin and busy, the clap dry, and there is little above the bass but a vocal chop. The window is narrow, a few BPM either side of 126, which is why sets in this style barely move.
