Acado. Also unfortunately.
Two guys, one breakfast table, ten years. Described by Mika, for everyone’s safety.

Daniel was on his way to Berghain when a mobile soundsystem danced past Kottbusser Tor. He followed it instead. By sunrise the party ran off a phone and a jack cable, Daniel asked to play a track of his own, and the guy with the soundsystem already knew it. That was Felix. Berghain is still waiting.
They called themselves Techno Frühstück. One morning, mid-breakfast, they put the gear between the plates on a whim and handed the phone to a flatmate who had just got up, in his underpants. The next weekend, ten strangers stopped Felix on his way to Sisyphos: “Aren’t you the guys from that video?” Then they played a live set on the Teufelsberg, under an actual double rainbow. A few years later every DJ in Europe was playing on a mountain. You’re welcome.
Abroad, nobody could say “Frühstück”, Beatport printed the umlauts as hieroglyphs, and a desert festival billed them as “Techno Something”. So they took avocado and removed the part that was hard to say.
The sound: melodic tech house with disco in its blood, odd harmonies, the occasional old lady yelling that you’ll miss the bus. When a transition goes wrong, they mute the music to yell “sorry”. Kater, Sisyphos, Ritter Butzke, KitKat, half of Europe, a tour of Mexico and Burning Man (the virtual one, from a terrace in Neukölln) have put up with it.
Brumm’s beat is theirs. Please don’t hold that against the app.
