Formula: 1 ♭3 4 ♭5 5 ♭7. Steps from note to note: 3 2 1 1 3 2 semitones (one and a half, whole, half, half, one and a half, whole).
The A minor pentatonic scale with one note added: E♭, the flat fifth, the blue note. Slide through it, don't sit on it.

Left hand, right hand
On piano the blues scale goes in the right hand over a boogie or a shuffle in the left: root and fifth, then root and sixth, in eighth notes. In C the blue note is G♭ (F♯), the black key between F and G; slide off it into G with the same finger. C, F and G blues cover a 12-bar in C if you prefer to follow the chords.
