One position, frets 0–4, low E string first: low E: 0 1 3 (E F G) · A: 0 1 3 (A B♭ C) · D: 0 2 3 (D E F) · G: 0 2 3 (G A B♭) · B: 1 3 (C D) · high E: 0 1 3 (E F G). 0 = open string.

The root F sits at fret 1 on the low E string and at fret 8 on the A string. Slide the same shape there for any other root.

B flat is the one to watch

F major has one flat, B♭: the A string's 1st fret, the G string's 3rd fret and the low E's 6th. Near the nut the scale needs a stretch (it starts at fret 1 with the barre F chord shape); many players prefer the position from the 8th fret on the A string, where the hand sits more comfortably.
