What note am I singing?

Tap, sing or hum one note for two seconds, and read it off. Then hear that note as a bassline in a running club track.

The microphone opens when you tap, listens for two seconds and closes. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.

What this does, and what it doesn't

It listens to one note at a time, the way a tuner does, and names the nearest note on a piano (A4 is 440 Hz). It also says how far off you are, in cents: a hundred cents is one semitone, and anything within about twenty you'd call in tune. It doesn't judge your voice, only its pitch.

Sing a steady vowel, not a word, and hold it. Octaves count: G3 and G4 are both G. If it says "couldn't hear you", come closer to the phone or sing a little louder.

Then make something of it

The note you sang goes into Brumm as a melody, in time and in key, inside a club track with a beat and a bass. No account, no upload: the note travels inside the link itself. Sing a whole line there, and it becomes an instrument.

Your voice stays on your phone: the tool reads it in the browser and keeps nothing. How the site counts visits.
