Guitar tuner
A free guitar tuner in your phone's browser: one string at a time, a needle and the cents, standard tuning or drop D, DADGAD, open G, open D, half a step down. Nothing uploaded.

The microphone stays open while you tune and closes when you stop, when everything is in tune, or after half a minute of quiet. Nothing is recorded or sent.
How to tune
Standard tuning, low to high, is E A D G B E. Pluck the string the tuner asks for, let it ring, and turn its peg until the needle sits in the middle: the tick comes at five cents or closer, and the tuner moves on to the next string. Tighten to go up, loosen to go down; if a string is far below, tune up to it rather than down, so it holds.
The switches above the strings change the tuning: drop D lowers the sixth string a whole tone, DADGAD and open G and open D retune several. Half a step down is Hendrix's and Slash's. If the tuner hears the wrong octave, rest a hand on the other strings.
The needle shows how far you are from the note the tuner expects, in cents: a hundred cents is a semitone, five or closer gets the tick, and anything inside twenty most people don't hear.
Then play something
The notes you tuned go into Brumm as a short melody, inside a club track with a beat and a bass. No account, no upload: the notes travel inside the link itself. Hum or play a line there, and it becomes an instrument.
The microphone is read in the browser and nothing is kept. How the site counts visits.
