Ukulele tuner
A free ukulele tuner in your phone's browser: G C E A one string at a time, with a needle and the cents; low G, D tuning and baritone as switches. Nothing uploaded.

The microphone stays open while you tune and closes when you stop, when everything is in tune, or after half a minute of quiet. Nothing is recorded or sent.
How to tune
Soprano, concert and tenor ukuleles share the same tuning: G C E A, with the G above the C (the "my dog has fleas" tuning). Pluck one string, let it ring, and turn its peg until the needle sits in the middle; the tick comes at five cents or closer, and the tuner moves on.
New nylon strings stretch for days and drift flat; tune a little sharp and play, then tune again. A low G string sits an octave lower, and a baritone ukulele is tuned like a guitar's top four: D G B E.
The needle shows how far you are from the note the tuner expects, in cents: a hundred cents is a semitone, five or closer gets the tick, and anything inside twenty most people don't hear.
Then play something
The notes you tuned go into Brumm as a short melody, inside a club track with a beat and a bass. No account, no upload: the notes travel inside the link itself. Hum or play a line there, and it becomes an instrument.
The microphone is read in the browser and nothing is kept. How the site counts visits.
