Vihuela tuner
A free vihuela tuner in your phone's browser: the mariachi's five-string Mexican vihuela, A D G B E with the B and E dropping back, with a needle and the cents. Nothing uploaded.

Up to the G, then back down to the B. Mika doesn't let the B go up an octave. The microphone closes when you stop, when all is in tune, or after half a minute of quiet. Nothing is recorded.

How to tune
The Mexican vihuela is the mariachi's small rhythm guitar with a vaulted back. Its five strings carry the guitar's top five notes, A D G B E, but the A, D and G sit an octave higher than on a guitar, while the B and E match the guitar's. So the tuning climbs from A to G and then drops back to the B below it.
Because the B sits below the G, a guitar chord shape played on the vihuela comes out inverted, with its top note not where a guitarist expects; the vihuela's bright, close strum comes from exactly that. Tune the A, D and G first, then come down to the B and E: tuning the B up to an octave above, by habit, snaps it.
Then play something
The notes you tuned can go into Brumm as a short melody over a beat. Hum a line on top and it becomes an instrument.
